Teacher Eligibility Test Known as TET is an Indian Entrance Examination for Teachers. The Exam is Mandatory for Getting Teaching Jobs in Government Schools From First Class to 8th Class. Paper First is Meant for Teachers Opting for Class First to Fifth Class and Paper Two for Class 6th to 8th Class. It is Conducted by Both Central Government and State Governments in India. Most States Conduct Their Own TET. TET is Conducted in Order Fulfill and Achieve the Goals of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. Teacher Eligibility Test was Introduced by the Government of India in Order to Improve Standards in Teaching. This Year Andhra Pradesh Government Issued TET Notification 2019.
